We recognise the importance of making our web services available to the largest possible audience and havw attempted to design and develop the website in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines.
Changes to improve accessibility are still ongoing. Please inform us if you face difficulties accessing certain pages.
Access Key (Shorcuts)
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts which allow the user to navigate around the website without having to use a mouse or other pointing device. This enables quick and easy navigation through the sites for both screen readers and people such as typists.
To use access keys, hold down the “Alt” key (for PC) or “Ctrl” key (for Mac) and press the relevant number listed below, then press the “enter” or “return” key to activate the link.
Access Keys are not supported in Netscape v.4 and earlier, IE v4.5 for Mac and Opera.
Site Map
In addition, you can use the Site Map to navigate around the website.
Layout
We uses CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for positioning and styling its content, thus increasing the accessibility of the website. If your browser does not support CSS, you will still be able to fully access all the resources as usual. Users also can change the style sheets in their browsers to make viewing easier for their individual requirements.
In IE
Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Accessibility
Check “Format documents using my style sheet” and browse for your file.
In Netscape
Click on Edit -> Preferences -> Appearance
Then specify your own colours and fonts.
